The newly elected officers of the State Colleges and Universities Faculty Association of Region III (SCUFAR III) led by Hon. Winifredo L. Luis as president, in his capacity as TSU Federated Faculty Union President, were formally sworn into office earlier today (January 9) at the Engineering AVR, Main Campus.
TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco administered the oath of office, with outgoing association officers, led by former SCUFAR III president Dr. Divina Ladrillo, standing as witnesses to the transition of leadership.
Moreover, a preliminary meeting was held to discuss the upcoming SCUFAR III games this 2026 with Tarlac State University as the host institution.
In his message, Hon. Luis assured that SCUFAR III is in good hands with the new leadership and the continued support of the outgoing officers. He emphasized that this year’s games will focus on having fun, camaraderie, and the promotion of sportsmanship among the faculty. (jlm-OPA)
